We understand that this is a challenging situation at several levels. The welfare and safety of our community during this time is RCP's primary concern. Regional College of
Polytechnic(RCP) has taken significant steps to protect the health and safety of its students, faculties, and staffs. Key considerations to prevent or reduce COVID-19 risks.
1. Encourage regular hand-washing or use of an alcohol rub by all students at the meeting or event.
2. Encourage participants to cover their face with the bend of their elbow or a tissue if they cough or sneeze. Supply tissues and closed bins to dispose of them in.
3. Provide contact details or a health hotline number that students can call for advice or to give information.
4. Display dispensers of alcohol-based hand rub prominently around the venue.
5. Arrange the seats so that participants are at least one meter apart.
6. Open windows and doors whenever possible to make sure the venue is well ventilated.
7. Retain the names and contact details of all visitors for at least one month. This will help public health authorities trace people who may have been exposed to COVID-19.
8. Consider issuing employees who are about to travel with small bottles (under 100 CL) of alcohol-based hand rub. This can facilitate regular hand-washing.
9. Encourage employeesto wash their hands regularly and stay at least one meter away from people who are coughing or sneezing.
10. Restrict visitors from entering the area of a suspected COVID-19 patient.
The coronavirus continues to expand globally and rapidly, with new developments and outbreaks happening almost daily. Accordingly, it is imperative for RCP's to communicate with the workforce, take health and safety
precautions, monitor information about the virus, and plan and prepare for emergencies.
At this time, we have no confirmed case of COVID-19 on our campuses. We continue to remain vigilant by employing social distancing and following the guidelines issued by State and Central govt. These are
